Alyson Battaglia
I have always had a passion for the law, even as a young girl, I dreamed of one day becoming a lawyer. While in law school, I was not sure what kind of law practice I wanted to pursue. Upon graduating and passing the bar examination in 2008, I was offered a position at the Firm as an associate attorney. This position involved representing individuals who were injured in all types of accidents.
While I was in law school, I worked clerkships in various areas of law including Wills & Trusts, Probate, Family Law, Criminal Law, Construction Law, Health Law, and general litigation. While I enjoyed those experiences, I can honestly say that none of those practice areas appealed to me as much as my experience representing injured victims.
I have spent my entire legal career representing injured individuals and I would not have it any other way. There is something incredibly challenging and satisfying to me about representing an individual and getting them what they are entitled to, oftentimes outnumbered by a team of high-paid lawyers who are working for the insurance industry.
The level of service a client can expect from myself and my firm simply cannot be compared to the level of service you would receive at a big law firm where your case is just a number. I personally sit down with each and every one of my clients to review their cases with them and learn all of the pertinent details. I speak with my clients frequently and I KNOW their cases. This gives me a huge advantage over my competition. I can assure you that my philosophy in the practice of law is shared by my partners as well as my staff.
The law firm of Legler, Murphy & Battaglia, LLP, has been representing the rights of the injured in Manatee and Sarasota Counties for over 30 years and the lawyers of this office have over 100 years of collective legal experience. We have earned the trust of thousands of clients who we have represented over the years.
