Kennedy Legler
People often ask me why do you practice personal injury law. Don’t a lot of people define you as an “ambulance chaser”?
It certainly is true that many people look down upon personal injury attorneys as simply opportunists who want to take advantage of a person in a bad situation. However, ask any of my past and present clients what they think, and I believe they will all tell you that without my representation or my firm’s representation, they would not have had a chance.
People do not realize that the law of personal injury and wrongful death is extremely complicated and full of legal pitfalls and technicalities. There is nothing straightforward about any personal injury case. Each case is different based upon the facts and circumstances. many factors come into play when representing injured clients, and a full knowledge of all the possible ramifications that could occur in any one case is absolutely important.
I must say that it is an extremely rewarding experience once a case has been pursued to completion and the client is grateful for the result. I certainly cannot guarantee that all of our results are 100% satisfactory to the client. We sometimes lose, but we are more often successful in obtaining a favorable result for our client. A successful outcome is also very rewarding when one realizes that you are up against high powered and well funded insurance carriers and corporations that can outspend you 10 to 1. Therefore, one needs the knowledge of the law, as well as an aggressive attitude in order to overcome such obstacles.
I have practiced personal injury law for over 30 years. During that time I have learned a great deal about the law, how to succeed and how to obtain a successful outcome for an injured client.
The philosophy of our law firm is clear, in that we have built a firm dedicated to personalized and family-oriented principles, in which the client will always be represented by an attorney that they can talk to, meet with, and feel comfortable with. The key to any successful attorney/client relationship is trust. We feel we have earned the trust of thousands of our clients whom we have represented over the years.
If you are looking for a conglomerate firm with hundreds of lawyers, you probably will not want to consult with Legler, Murphy & Battaglia, LLP. However, if you are interested in speaking with an attorney one on one, as well as a community oriented organization that has been around the Manatee/Sarasota area for over 20 years, then you may want to speak with one of our attorneys.
Please feel free to contact me for a free and no obligation consultation and case review.
